Volvo PV544 pedal car

This light blue pedal car has been photographed at a swap meet in Chabanais (16), France in 2010.

It is not certain that it is really a Volvo PV544.

Any help is warmly welcome.

But there has been a new input today. The Volvo Museum Göteborg has published two black and white photos on their FB account. They have asked their followers the following:

We found these two pictures in our Historical Archive - does anybody know where they come from?

As you will notice both set of photos show slightly different versions of a Volvo PV544 pedal car. Do you have any info's regarding these models?
