Wolfgang Baumann of MWB ( Modellbau Wolfgang Baumann ) has started producing a Volvo PV544 in 1:220 scale a few month ago. The handmade model is made to order. The model is available in the already known colours from the PV444 : grey, green, sky blue, wine red, white and sand yellow. The painted model is offered in the 'Exclusiv' line for 14.20€. The features of the 'Exclusiv' line are painted models with detailed/painted details : - headlights and indicators - bumpers - windows - door handles - rims and tyres
The fourth model in the VOLVO Collection by Editions Atlas is a Volvo PV455 Duett. The model comes with the nice three colour scheme red-white-red and has a black interior.     Photos used with permission. VOLVO Collection :
The Volvo Amazon 122 S made in the the past by the famous brand Dinky Toys is again available as re-release. But the scale model is only available by ordering a subscription on the French Editions Atlas website. The model will be shipped to the customers this month. It is sold for 28,40 € ( 24,90 € + 3,50 € for S&H ). The Volvo is released as the 44th model in a collection of initially 40 models. The collection will most certainly be extended to 60 models due to his success. The Volvo Amazon is only offered in cream with cream interior. The scale model is no longer produced in Great Britain but in China. The model is the same as the original one with the exception of the bottom plate. You can read now that the model is made in China and that Editions Atlas/Mattel has the copyright. The model was already available by subscription in the Netherlands where it was released in March 2011. The third model in the VOLVO Collection by Editions Atlas is a white Volvo P1800 with red interior.  Brooklin Models has released two new models in their Rob Eddie line of products. Both models come decorated as Fire Chief cars. Quote from the Rob Eddie website : The RE4x and RE 24x will both be fire chief vehicles, both red (though slightly different shades) and will both have roof racks with ladders on. They feature a roof rack with a ladder and a siren. These details are unfortunately missing on the photos that you will find below. The Volvo PV802 has also a big bell mounted in front of the right front side door.
