The newly founded company Matrix Scale Models has just announced three new Volvo models. These 1:43 scale cars will be made of resin and will only be available as rtr versions. A sale price has not yet been published. The announced Volvo's are :

Three Volvo P1800 scale cars by Matchbox have been released as Model of the month in the States. These 3'' special limited edition models have been printed by Color Comp for Matchbox. The cars are available in three different colors with always the same design representing a rally/race car.

The four 1:43 scale models which Premium-X already announced last year should be released anytime soon. They will be available for 49.50 $ each.

Brekina has published their news folder already a few days ahead of the Toy Fair in Nürnberg. A little over 150 new models and decorations will be released. So far only two new Volvo scale models are shown. They are a P210 and a P210 panel van each in the 'TD' ( Top Decoration ) finish line :
A 1:43 scale Volvo 144 has showed up as future release on Modelcarworld's website. The diecast model will be offered under the label WhiteBox. The Volvo 144 will be offered in metallic blue and will be available for ± 20 € under item # 186675. The model should be the same as the one's previously produced and sold by Ixo.
Source : modelcarworld.de Modelcarworld.de has a Volvo Amazon Coune convertible listed as new future release by Neo Scale Models. So far two different versions seem to be released. I presume that there will be a white one with a black interior and a gray convertible with a red interior.
A Volvo Amazon 122S will soon be available in a collection offered by Editions Hachette in France. This collection is called 'Les Classiques de l'Automobile' which simply means 'classic cars'. By watching at the complete model list you will notice that there are many French cars. But you will also find cars from many other countries. The oldest being a Chrysler Airflow from 1936 and the newest is so far a 2010 Audi Q7. The Volvo Amazon 122S will be produced by IXO and should be available during week 23 of 2013. The models of this collection can however only be purchased in France at news-stands. The price of a model together with the French automobile magazine Auto-Plus is 13.99 €. The first model of the collection - a 1966 Citroën DS 19 Pallas - was released in February 2010.
