 Wiking is offering as model upgrade for June their for a long time known Volvo PV544 in combination with an egg shaped caravan. The set will be available for 16.00 to 18.49 € under item # 083907. Description of the set as found on Wiking's website : Bodywork in red, interior in anthracite grey with black steering wheel. Transparent front headlamps and red transparent tail lamps. Wheel rims in red, bumpers in silver. Headlamp ring detailing, along with grille surround and the word Volvo on the front. Side decorative trim strips on the mudguards as well as on the bonnet. The door handles and the petrol cap cover are also in silver. Side stone chip protectors in black. Silver tail lamp detailing on the back along with the cover grille and the model designation “Volvo PV544”. Tyres with white wall detailing and silver hub caps. Caravan bodywork in pearl white with tinted windows. Wheel rims in red. Tail lamps in carmine red and lower section in red with silver decorative trim strip. Here are the first photos of the 2014 Volvo V70 by Norev. This is yet another of the new official Volvo models. This 1:43 scale model is available in caspian blue metallic ( paint code 498 ). This in fact the last of the so far known new models which Volvo will launch for the model-year 2014. Just the new XC90 is still missing since not yet officially presented to the public. Editions Atlas has revealed that they will launch the Volvo Collection also in Germany at the end of this year. Under discussion are also a few other European countries. Editions Atlas is still investigating if those will be promising markets. Info from an Editions Atlas employee concerning the Volvo Duett model : And for the anecdote : we wanted to produce the P210 as nr. 23, but our producer (IXO) took the wrong car as an example and it was too late to change the molds. It's not a redecoration of the same mold, it's a complete new mold of the same car ! So we had to find an interesting decoration that our customer won't be disappointed by what seems to be only a new color. Here is the latest Volvo scale model which Norev is producing officially for Volvo's merchandise department. This miniature represents the redesigned Volvo S80 as it will be produced for the model year 2014. The 1:43 scale model is made out of diecast. The Volvo C30 produced by the Chinese company Uni-Fortune is also offered in Sweden under the label RMZ City Collection. The 1:32 scale diecast model is available for 98 SEK ( ± 11.5 € ) under item # 3582.
