The seventeenth model in the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas will most certainly be a Volvo 740 Turbo. Many collectors in the Netherlands have this model marked as the next release on their customer accounts.

Neo Scale Model has released its third Volvo 242 Turbo model. The latest is an exclusive model for the German web-shop Modelcarworld.de and is limited to 300 units and available under item # 174805 for 59.95 € plus S&H. The silver car wears the number 20 and comes in the colors of the German team Kissling Motorsport. The car was driven in the 1985 DTM season by Heinz-Friedrich Peil. This was in fact a private car with no support from Volvo : Peil built up the car and Kissling Motorsport did the engine tuning. They used however the 4-door version because it was too difficult to get the 2-door shell. This was the only Volvo 240 4-door used as a race car.
     
Brekina has produced six special decorated Volvo Duett models for the Danish company TOG & TEKNO which is a toy distributor for the Scandinavian countries. The recently released models are :
Drammens Is was a former ice cream manufacturer based in Drammen, Norway. Premium-X has announced a few days ago two new releases on their facebook page. The first 1:43 diecast model is a golden Volvo P1800ES with a tan interior and the second is a black Volvo 144 with a red interior. The car is painted white and features white and blue checker on both sides. The interior is black. The box doesn’t notice an item number but the EAN code is 8 22259 7 19847.
Minichamps will release their next Volvo model in December just in time for the X-mas season. It will be a 1:43 scale model of the well known Volvo 855 break.

Marcin Barański, a Polish Volvo fan has released his second Volvo paper model. It is a 1:25 scale Volvo 244 model kit made of printed cardboard. The very detailed kit represents a model from the last generation which was produced from 1986 until 1993. The finished kit will feature excellent details as you can see on these photos from the previous model. The printed paper sheets for one kit are offered as soft cover booklets which can be purchased for 9.90 € & shipping on his website or on ebay. Future releases will include a Volvo 740.
This wooden model represents a Volvo 760. It is offered for 14 € on ebay.de by the store profihaendler2007. This model is so far only produced in very limited numbers. A bigger production run is possible if there is enough interest. The scale model is made of beech and spruce. It measures 14 x 5 x 4,5 cm ( l/w/h ) which results in an approximative scale of 1:34.
