 I have already presented two month ago the 1:87 scale Volvo PV444A released by the Stockholm ModellJärnvägsklubb ( SMJ ). The H0 resin model is either available as a kit or rtr model. The website of the club is now offering an order page in Swedish, English and German . This should ease up the task of ordering one of these nice models. The kit is available for ± 28 € and the rtr model for ± 39 € plus shipping.

The eighteenth model in the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas is a Volvo PV800. The models in the PV821/822 and PV831 range were designed to suit the needs of Taxi drivers. The models offered a large rear compartment with enough place for two foldings seats. This meant that up to seven people were able to take place in the car. Minichamps has finally published a picture of the second announced 1:43 scale model of the Volvo 242 Turbo. This car by the 'Team IPS Racing' was driven by Peter Stureson in the 1986 DTM season. These models will be offered for around 55 €.

 Herpa offers a new color of the Volvo P1800 in their annual Advent calendar. The color of the 1:87 model is maroon brown. You will however receive 23 more cars of various brands. The 2012 calendar is available for 129 € under item # 301374.
Source & copyright : Herpa A Volvo XC60 'Policia' model decorated for the Portuguese Police is available by Dickie. Two small icons on both sides of the cardboard are showing that this 3'' diecast model has working pullback action but there is no such feature. The model is packed in a blister on a nice and specific decorated cardboard. The model can be found on ebay for ± 4.50 €.
Premium-X has published two days ago new photos showing the first samples of the Volvo PV444A and the 2 Volvo Amazon models. I can't find any improvements compared to the models which made their first appearance on the web this summer see here. It might be that the PV444 seems to have slightly smaller holes for the windshield wipers.
