The Australian company Apex Replicas has announced this week two Volvo S60 race-car models from this years Australian Supercars championship. The new release features GRM's (Gary Rogers Motorsport) retro livery and will be available as 1:43 as well as 1:18 scale. The 1:43 scale models will be available for 88.00 AUD tax incl. (± 62 € / ± 66 $) and the 1:18 versions for 165.00 AUD tax incl. (± 116 € / ± 123 $). The Volvo S60 models form this season won't be able until next year.

We're pleased to announce the fantastic retro-liveried GRM Volvo S60 of Scott McLaughlin and David Wall that qualified 2nd at this year's Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Available in both 1:18 and 1:43 scales these are sure to be popular.

The model will be available in 1:43 as well in 1:18 scale. Apex Replicas is very proud to announce that we will be producing the Garry Rogers Motorsport Volvo S60 driven by Scott McLaughlin to victory in the Australian Grand Prix support races last year in both 1:18 and 1:43 scales as special Expo release models. We're doing the two GRM (Gary Rogers Motorsport) cars as they appeared at the Clipsal 500 race this year, in both scales – 1:18 and 1:43. The first pair should be out in the first quarter of 2015 (probably Scott McLaughlin's) as we release both scales together. They will be available through ourselves, GRM and the various retailers listed on our website.

"We just received some images through from the factory of the pattern sample for the Scott McLaughlin and Robert Dahlgren Volvo S60 V8 Supercars.

This is a pattern sample which means it's the first physical sample we have out of the CAD data and the final stage before tooling begins. It's a bit rough but that's why we do it this way, to make sure it's right before we invest in tooling.

Tooling takes a month or two depending on the adjustments needed when the first test shots come through and then we're onto the first decorated samples, then production.
