The label WhiteBox has released several weeks ago a Volvo 164 as well as a Volvo P1800ES. Both scale models come in typical colors from their era - the late 1960's and early 1970's. Those models are identical to the models which most of you will know from the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas. The main difference are the different colors. Each model is packed in black and white window cardboard box hence the name under which these models are being sold. Both Volvo's are 1:43 scale models made of diecast and featuring some plastic parts. They are manufactured by Ixo in China. You can buy either one for 21.95 €. 1968 Volvo 164

 Volvo 145 estate by WhiteBox The label WhiteBox has released last week a Volvo 145 estate. The scale model comes in a typical color from the late 1960's and 1970's. It is painted dark yellow. The interior consist of a black dashboard in combination with dark brown seats, side panels, trunk floor and trunk linings. The car is fitted with German license plates for the city of Flensburg.
This Volvo is announced as being a car from model-year 1973. But this is not correct. The scale represents rather a version from 1969 -1970. This 1:43 scale model is made of diecast and features some plastic parts. It is manufactured by Ixo in China. You can buy it for 21.95 € under item number WB091 (197394). The label WhiteBox has released this week the Volvo PV445 Duett as 1:43 scale diecast model. The model is made by IXO in China. The scale model represents the Volvo Duett from model-year 1953. It comes painted in the attractive blue over light cream over blue paint scheme. The interior is gray. The model features even optional whitewall tires. The official retail price for this model is 21,95 €. This Volvo comes packed in a white and black cardboard window box. The item number for this model is WB063.  ModelCarWorld has released this week the second Volvo model under their own label WhiteBox. The first was a light blue metallic Volvo 144. The new release is a Volvo PV444. This 1:43 scale model is made in China by IXO. The diecast model of this PV444 is painted dark red which seems to be pretty close to the original Volvo paint called metallic red/wine red (21). The car features a light gray interior. And they put even white wall tires on this car.
This is a limited edition run of 1008 pieces. The model is available for 21.95 € under item number 194601. The car is packed in a white and black cardboard window box. The same Volvo PV444 has previously been available in various colors and packaging versions as well as under different brands and labels.
