Editions Atlas has launched this week a new collection called 'Police Cars Collection'. This new collection is now available in Sweden but it will be extended to the remaining Scandinavian countries anytime soon. The first release is interesting for any Volvo fans since it is a replica of a PV445 Duett as once used by the Swedish Police. The car features the well known 'Polis' livery of black and white. This 1:43 scale model is also fitted with the typical lights and sirens on the car's roof. The starting model of this new 'Police Cars Collection' is available for only 46 SEK which are today 4.90 EUR or 5.46 USD. This price tag includes the model, a booklet, a small pocket lamp as well as the shipping fees. You will receive more small gifts when you will go with the initial subscription to that new collection. You will receive with your second model a box for keeping the booklets followed by a DVD 'Police Cars' with your third model. And the fifth model will include a presentation rack where you can place fifteen models. All the models offered in this collection are made of diecast. I'm pretty sure that Editions Atlas has planned to add a couple more Volvo's to this new 'Police Cars Collection'. Volvo P210 Duett is pictured in the first photo instead PV445 .

This mistake is from Editions Atlas site. In some close up fotos is p210 too. It would be great to see P210 duett (not van) from Atlas. Because now only quite expensive versions of not van P210 duett (André Models, Somerville) are available.

Well you know Ivan I guess that was just an IT guy who did not pay attention to details and I was just silly enough to copy/paste it without double checking. Shame on me too. I will try to check if I can find out if maybe a P210 Duet might pop up in this Police Cars Collection by EA.

I am thrilled to see what " POLIS-Duett " I get, a 445 yearmodel 1958/59 or a 210 as both varations are on display at the swedish Editions-site where i put my order. The 210 Duett on the site is from year model 1965 or newer, identifyed by the wheels. Duett 445 became Duett 210 in the summer 1960 when the split windscreen disappeared. I hope Editions keep the details correct, I have got too many " year Model hybrids " in the Volvo Collection

When I look close on the big photo in the Edition documentation it is obvious that the picture is of a 210 Duett year model 1965 or later that has been "photoshopped" to get a split windscreen. The swedish police- Duett from the time with split windscreen ( pre 1960 ) were black below the windows and had white roof.

Hi, How many models are there in total in this collection ?
Usually, we always plan 30 models, but the success of the collection can change it, for example with Volvo which is really appreciate by customer we begin with 30, add 15 twice and now 5 more... and I hope that the success continue.
