Volvo 240 GLT estate by Editions Atlas

The number seventy-one in the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas is the Volvo 240 GLT estate. Do I really have to introduce you this classic brick? I don't think so. This classic Swede has contributed a lot to Volvo's reputation for strong and everlasting cars. And I'm sure many of you still regret that Volvo has stopped producing the 240's. Volvo produced a total of 2,862,053 units between 1974–1993. The trim label GLT stands for "Grand Luxe Touring".
Editions Atlas choose to offer the 1:43 diecast model in a very appealing color combo of dark red metallic with a lighter red interior. You just have to love this brick which comes fitted with Volvo's classic 15" Corona rims.

No, no no, not another copy.... They could do the 240 Turbo sedan instead... They have the 240-sedan already so why can't they do the turbo if they must do copies....

Now we have 240 Polar Estate, 265 Estate, 245 Polis and now this... They don't have much of fantasy and creativity on Atlas... :(

Inga mer kopior, det är inte en ny modell bara för färgbyte. Sluta med serien om ni inte kommer på nått nytt. Vi kan samla på ngt annat Saab Mercedes Polis Ambulans mm. Men se till att vi som samlar får alla modeller i serien. Har varit med från början men saknar 5st bilar nr: 36 37 38 47 52

Jag håller med dig till 100%, varför ska vi behöva betala för en massa kopior? Jag hade inte sagt något om man kunde se STORA skillnader men nu de senaste bilarna har varit mer eller mindre exakta kopior förutom färgen... Det är retfullt... Man kan ta 940 till exempel den är en exakt kopia av 760GLE vi fick för ett tag sedan, bara annan färg på blinkersglasen.... :(

Why can't they do only different cars? I don't buy the answer they give us about it's cheaper then wait until the next new model...
