What about "Philip", "Venus Bilo", "PV 644", other factory cars about "Duett". Oh, it's so much of models to make. We want them all!

Sure there are still many other Volvo which have not yet been done. But this collection will infortunately end with the release number 60. But that doesn't mean that you won't be able to see new model developments in the futur.

#58 760 GLE
#59 TP-21 (Sweet, I can not wait for this one !)
#60 Venus Bilo

I also see a Volvo truck, is that the same N88 as this, but in a different color?
http://www.minivolvo.lu/new-releases/volvo-truck-collection-launched-by-editions-atlas-as-test-in-sweden
And is that at the behind of that white Saab(?) a F88?
By the way, is there any news of that truck series? How was the Swedish test?

Correct - 5-times high! Well done.

Both trucks are for the second test of the Volvo Truck Collection.

I guess we used to think that the 700/900 estate would be a 940, but now it appears to be a 760 - that's OK. :) The Volvo Collection ends at 60 - for now? It's nice to think that there could still be more to come in the future. Can we do anything to influence the desicion-making process?

Hej Kari,
Neither a V70 nor a 850 (854) will be part of the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas.
These are for sure interesting cars but they didn't make it into the collection.

It seems that cars from the last 15-20 years have not had a high priority in this Volvo Collection. But in addition to the ones mentioned above I'd like to see a handful more models from about 2000 and older that are still missing, such as S60, S40, 460, 345 and more. Can we do anything to convince Editions Atlas to continue this collection at some point during the next few years?

For sure Lars,

the latest models were not a priority because Volvo let made lot of them directely, so they are quite common in 1/43 scale. But we know that we still have a lot of pissibility to make a second Volvo Cars Models collection, I won't forget it in the future.

I appreciate this somewhat reassuring reply. :) And I agree that it makes sense to leave the cars at least from the last ten years out of the collection.

As for Bjorn's comment about S40 and so on, I must admit that the offer from Editions Atlas is my first entry into collecting 1/43 scale models at all. I realise that I could very well buy the S40 somewhere else, and maybe I will eventually. :)

However, an S40 is hardly the most important thing I'd like to see in "the upcoming second collection". Among other models I'd particularly suggest more versions of the 200 series and more concept cars.

If I would want to buy a S40 model I'd just go to any modelshop and buy one. If I would want a Sugga for 22 euros on the other hand... that's a whole different story..... And THAT is why this collection is so awesome.

Just a question out of curiosity for Mr Atlas: is the Volvo Collection one of THE most popular collections Atlas has ever done? Because speaking for myself I know Volvo drivers are very, very loyal to their brand.

It's hard to answer Bjorn. This Volvo collection it's our bestseller in Nordic countries, but it's also our first mono-brand collection. So difficult to compare for now.

Since last year we also launched the Saab Car Museum Collection, which have a big success and really good loyalty. It can become a bestseller as Volvo.

At the end of the Year we launch a Porsche 911 collection, so we can then compare the loyalty.

I do not want to be rude but why Editions Atlas does not inform customers that they have some problems with deliveries, etc.? At least here in Finland very many have had problems with customer service. EA has sent the same models twice and packages are incomplete. I love this Volvo series but at this rate, here goes an eternity just for waiting.
I received the latest model (264 TE) for more than 2 months ago, and nothing has happened since then...

It has happen to me, two of the same two car was sent to me, and it's bad on the Volvo Collection. and the this you wrote about long time since the latest car arrived have also happen to me but in the Saab collection, my latest car come to me in February/March and when I asked them about when the next car will arrive, they answer that the next car is sold out... That's strange all cars can't be sold out at the same time...

Dear Martin, dear Volvorine,

It had been a problem in Sweden and Finland because of a new computer system. They told me that everything is ok now.
I'm really sorry to hear that you still have problems.

I will ask Michelle to give you my e-mail adress, so you can explain me more about those problem.

I'm not working in the logistic or customer services, but now we have someone who is working to understand how thos problem can come to solve them,

We will do our best to deliver the models !

Hello Mr. Atlas!
Yeah I know about the problems and it's ok but I don't understand why they don't had a print or backup of the list for each costumer, if they had , I can't understand why the problem with twin cars come out.

The new site has a week point and it's that we can't see which cars that had been delivered and which will be arrive as next , like the old site .

Have a nice day

Friendly Regards
Martin
