Volvo XC Estate by Playsam for Volvo's Vista program

Playsam will produce an elegant and minimalist scale model of Volvo's actual design language for Volvo's merchandising program. This model will be available later this summer. Playsam has however produces a very limited and especially decorated batch of this model for Volvo's Vista (Volvo International Service Training Award) program. It has been given to a limited number of participants of this years Vista program. I have not been able find out how many of these have been produced and distributed. But I can tell that it will hard for the scale model collector to be able to add of those to their own collection.

This beautifully designed model car has been produced in a special limited edition for VISTA.

It is awarded exclusively by Volvo Cars to excellent achievers of VISTA 2016 and cannot be obtained in any other way.

About VISTA
VISTA (Volvo International Service Training Award) is an international competition open to all aftermarket professionals within the Volvo Trucks’ and Volvo Buses’ global service network. Currently it is the world’s largest competition for aftermarket personnel, with the last competition involving over 17,000 participants from 93 countries.
The aim of the competition is to help employees develop and improve’ their knowledge, skills, and ability to work as a team. Participants take part in teams of two to four people, and the competition starts with three rounds of theoretical questions, which teams complete in their workshops. After three rounds, the best performing teams qualify for regional semi finals. From these semi-finals, 32 teams will qualify for the world final, which is held in Gothenburg, Sweden – Volvo’s birthplace and home.
However VISTA is much more than a competition – it is a mass training event. The aim is to make us better at what we do every day. During VISTA, the participants improve their skills, new friendships are formed, and for many it is an experience of a lifetime.
