Silvio Righetti, a modeler from Switzerland, has produced back in the 1980's inter alia the two following Volvo scale models. I have knowledge that a Volvo PV36 and a PV61 Nordberg convertible have been available. Both models were made out of white metal. Their scale is 1:43 or perhaps a little smaller. Does anyone know more about these miniatures and/or about Silvio Righetti ? Source & copyright : matuska.se & BJ

I own both those models on the picture. I bought them a long time ago at a fair , I think in Aachen Germany organized by Danhausen store if my memories are correct. I cannot say much about it, there was no bo, I am not even sure what is on the bottom plate as I moved to the USA and not all my models have moved with me yet... 9/27/2017 07:35:16 pm
PV36 and PV61 were "re-cast" by Dutch R&M modelmakers (2 brothers). Later that name changed into I&M. They made several colours and they also produced their own boxes. Leave a Reply. |
