I knew for a while that this scale model existed but only recently found one which I was able to buy. The model car has been produced in resin by Tonic as kit and rtr model. This model represents a modified Volvo Amazon that Ole Sommer, a Danish Volvo dealer, had produced for himself. This Amazon was a one-off model that he had built in 1960. This model is a pattern that has been produced to detect possible errors before it will go into production. The model is 2.5 bigger than the final model. Two models are so far known : this one and an identical one made of beige resin. These pattern are made of solid resin.
