UPDATED : Volvo V40 by Siku

I have recently discovered that there do exist several slightly different versions of the Volvo V40 by Siku. The differences are not related to the 1:55 scale model itself but to the blister package and the supplemental content. The tiny variation is in fact a traffic sign made of plastic which comes in some sets. I have noticed that these road signs feature several different regulatory signs. The shape of the blisters is slightly different depending if the Volvo V40 comes with a road sign or not. Please let me know if you are aware of other versions.

The so far found versions are :

V40 without traffic sign
V40 with traffic sign : Do not enter / No entry
V40 with traffic sign : No stopping / Clearway
V40 with traffic sign : Pavement parking
.... ?

Volvo 265 by Siku

Here is a prototype of a Volvo 265 which Siku probably developed between 1975 and 1979.
It is unclear why the scale model never saw production.
It is probable that it ended with a few other prototypes in the hands of a former Siku worker.
They were offered for sale several years ago and the person behind oldtoycars.de was able to buy them.

Volvo 760 by Siku

Here is a mint Volvo 760 by Siku and still packed in the blister. This is the first time I have seen this larger type of cardboard/blister package combo. Features of the car are opening front side doors, working suspension and an indicated metal sunroof. The item number for this Volvo 760 is 1065.
I have also noticed that the model is stated as 1:55 scale model. The approximate dimensions of the model are 84x31x25 mm and do match very closely this information.
These Siku models have always been listed as 1:64 scale models in my database. This will of course be corrected in the next release which will be available very soon.
