The printed info's on the box say that the scale of the Volvo is 1:35 while the bottom plate of the model reads 1:34. The very same model of this Volvo XC90 has been offered by other companies and labels:

I came across this older Matchbox MBX Metal set featuring a Volvo XC90 and two other cars. It is not yet listed in the database. This 3-car set dates back to 2006. The three 3-inch diecast models are from top to bottom:
 A Dutch model collector has received yesterday the model of the Volvo XC90 Police car which you can see in the attached photos. This XC90 comes in the livery of a South Korean Police car. The scale model has been manufactured in China and it is distributed by a company called Mica World Co. Ltd. and based in Busan, South Korea. It seems that this is an officially licensed Volvo product from 2006. The diecast model has a push back engine. It's scale is 1:34. The EAN-13 barcode reads 8809173550112.  Photo used with permission. Courtesy of Jimmy. I have just discovered this 10-car set featuring a Volvo XC90. This set by Matchbox is labeled 'Showroom Models' and has been released in January 2010. This golden brown paint scheme is new for this set. It has not been available before. The interior of the model is black. The 3'' model has a diecast body and a plastic bottom plate. It has been made in Thailand. A good source for anything regarding the Volvo XC90 by Matchbox is this Wiki page.
A guy in the UK is offering Code 3 Police models in various scales. He is mainly doing those colorful Police cars from the UK. All the scale models are made in very small numbers. But he is also offering one-offs of a specific model if you desire one like that. He uses self made printed decals as well as correct detail parts from several small suppliers like 2D Models. All his models are offered under the label T.O.T. Models. I will try to present you here all the Volvo models he has done so far in 1:43 and 1:18 scale. 1:43 models :

I presented yesterday the various Volvo C70 versions which Bburago has released so far. Bburago has produced the Volvo XC90 in several versions with even more tiny differences. Most of these variations are only visible after having a really close look at these 1:43 scale models. The photos will give a short overview of the models and their details. The regular models have also been available in two different window boxes. The first being the standard Bburago box and the second is a promotional box for Volvo. Volvo XC90 tourist versions :

But I have no proof so far that these models really exist.
