The Australian company Apex Replicas has published a couple of days ago the first pics of the pre-production model of the Volvo S60 V8 Supercar. Here is a quote from one of their emails addressed to me: We're doing the two GRM (Gary Rogers Motorsport) cars as they appeared at the Clipsal 500 race this year, in both scales – 1:18 and 1:43. The first pair should be out in the first quarter of 2015 (probably Scott McLaughlin's) as we release both scales together. They will be available through ourselves, GRM and the various retailers listed on our website. Here's a couple of photos that they put up a couple of days ago on our Facebook page and the accompanying text: "We just received some images through from the factory of the pattern sample for the Scott McLaughlin and Robert Dahlgren Volvo S60 V8 Supercars. Herpa has released their Volvo P1800 model in yet another color. This is the second new color for this year. Herpa choose this time to offer the P1800 in fire red in combination with a black interior. The H0 scale model is now available under item number 024907-002. The official retail price is 10.50 €. This H0 (1:87) scale model is made of plastic.

A great source for infos about the Volvo P1800 is the website volvo1800pictures.com The number forty-six in the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas is the Volvo 265 GLE estate. This model represents a car from model year 1982. It is painted black and features a beige interior. Editions Atlas is the first company who is offering a correct 1:43 scale model of the Volvo 265 estate. In the autumn of 1975 (for the 1976 model year in America), the 265 DL estate became available alongside the existing range, and this was the first production Volvo estate to be powered by a six-cylinder engine. The Volvo 240 and Volvo 260 share the same chassis and body. They are basically the same car but the 260 has more luxury items and the more powerful V6 engine. Depending on the year it is equipped with power mirrors, power windows, leather interior, lots of chrome on the outside, upscale sound system, mag wheels and other luxury items not found on the base Volvo 240. From 1975 to 1980 the car was available with a standard or automatic transmission. From 1981 only the automatic transmission was available. 35061 units of the Volvo 265 had been built between 1975 and 1985.
 Volvo's merchandising department has released last week the 1:43 scale models of the all new Volvo XC90. Some of you have already received your parcel with the models. The scale model is made out of diecast and is available in two colors: onyx black and luminous sand. The official retail price for one model is 39.70 €. The all-new XC90 in onyx black is available under item number 2300462-100-000. The all-new XC90 in luminous sand is available under item number 2300462-702-000. The black one is already sold out but Volvo's web-shop will be restocked in a couple of weeks with new models.
