The first Volvo models in H0 scale by Neo Scale Models have appeared yesterday on Model Car World's website. Not only seven but eight different models are offered. Neo Scale Models has produced once again a model in an exclusive paint for the web-store Model Car World. It is in this case a black over blue metallic Volvo 262 Bertone which is offered in a limited run of 500 units. And the light blue metallic Volvo 244 DL is also offered as a limited edition of 500 models for Model Car World. This color was announced from the beginning but it was never mentioned that it will be a limited an exclusive model. The officially announced price in Europe is 28.90 € per model. The Volvo 244 DL is offered in four different colors typical of the 1970's. The big black bumpers seem well represented. But the overall look of the model is in my eyes not convincing. The main issue seems to be the front which looks quite strange. I guess that it is due to the way the scale model has been designed.
    The Volvo 262 Bertone represents a model from the last run. Not every detail is 100% correct and the proposed colors where not all available for that model-year. The overall impression is my eyes once again not very convincing.

MiniCar87 has released a list with all the H0 scale models that Neo Scale Models will produce. And as in the past, MiniCar87 will receive and sell exclusive paint schemes for a couple of models. Three special colours are announced for Volvo's : Volvo 245 - colour still unknown Volvo 262 - colour still unknown    Volvo 780 - beige metallic So far no release dates have been published.
