The international publishing company DeAgostini has launched in Russia a collection featuring Police cars from around the world. The collection who started back in 2013 consist of 1:43 scale models. These models are made out of diecast by Ixo in China. Each model of this collection comes with a booklet and is packed in a blister on cardboard. A fourth Volvo model has been released back in March. It is a model of a Volvo 164 in the livery of the Swedish Police forces. The base for this model is the Volvo 164 as offered as number 8 (N° 8 506 008) in the the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas.
This Volvo 164 'Polis' (SE) is officially sold for 419.00 RUB (± 5.70 EUR). The Volvo is number 77 in this collection.

It is a model of a Volvo 343 in the livery of the Dutch Police forces. The Dutch Police used the Volvo 343 from the end of the 1970's into the 1980's. The Volvo 343 'Police' (NL) is officially sold for 369.00 RUB (± 6.50 EUR). This model is however surprisingly an exact copy of the model which has been offered in the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas. The model was released in spring of 2014 (see here). The only difference between the two releases is that DeAgostini sells the Volvo 343 on a blister on cardboard. The models from the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas are limited to that specific collection. This normally means that not one Volvo which has been designed for the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas can be offered in the same color and/or livery in another collection or offered under another label.

 A magazine series called ‘Maşini de Legendă' (Legendary Cars) is being offered in Rumania since 2014 by DeAgostini. The whole collection will count a total of 120 different scale models when finished. The models are all made by Ixo in China. Each model cost 25,90 lei (Romanian New Leu) (~5.85 €). Model number 79 has been released September 24th, 2014. It is a 4-door Volvo P120 Amazon. The diecast model is painted white over blue and features a black interior.  DeAgostini has just announced to offer a third Volvo scale model in a partwork collection called 'Kultowe Auta PRL'. The name of the collection means 'cult cars of PRL' during the socialist years in Poland. The third Volvo will be a 4-door Amazon. It will be painted light yellow and will feature a black interior. This 1:43 scale diecast model will be made by Ixo in China. The third Volvo will be model number 160 in that collection. It will be available starting from the fifteenth of October, 2014. Slight delays are a common issue with all these partwork series. You will be able to get this model for 21.90 PLN ( ~5.50 € ) in news-stand and other shops offering magazines and newspapers in Poland. The first Volvo model in this collection was a blue Volvo 343 (N°149) and the second was a dark green Volvo 144 (N°153). The last has been released only a week ago.
