Bjorn, according previous messages the #60 is going to be a 'protoype, never seen as a model before'. The Philip however has already been manafactured by Robeddie in three colour versions. My bet is still the Venus Bilo!

I guesss the #55 could possible be a PV650, a PV36 or a TR670.

It seems like you forgot nr.51. The rallycar I was realy exited when i saw that one! (remind me when i started my rally carrier in a simular car). Can we hope for more motorsportscars in the future?

This all looks very interesting - and it seems to me that the "scope" of the collection is being widened somewhat. That particularly makes me hope that the number of models will be increased once again beyond 60. Come on now - 80? Please! ;)

I hope it too (but 15 more, so 75)... but for now the decision is to stay at 60 (which is already one of the longer Atlas Model car collection)...

What's wrong with 80? :p All right, let's ask for 75 now for the upcoming few months. Then, in a year or so, we'll start asking for 90. :)

BTW: The "more modern but still classic estate" would have to be a 700-900, right?

So the last mystery model is #56: the never seen before emergency model... Police, ambulance or fire brigade... That's the question...

Well, Amazon65, we know that the 240 SE Estate was the last police car in this series so the police car it can not be.

I guess it will be a big surprise for most of the Volvo fans.

How many fire engines Volvo has done? Most of them are trucks. Comes to mind only the L3314, C202 and C303, but I think that is highly unlikely that this would be a scale model of any of these.

Nr:56 can be an ambulance on the Volvo Express, I have seen I think IXO has done it and sold it under IXO.

Frans: that depends on when you subscribed your service on the Volvo collection. At this moment we are at #39 in the case when you're started from the very beginning.

If you subscribed to the collection right from the start you'll likely receive any given model pretty much right after its release. The same thing might occur even if you're late in the game, but it could also be that you'll see ut after a year or two. I'd say it's basically impossible to tell.

According to the info in my account on editionsatlas I'm going to receive as my next model in the Volvo Collection a "VOLVO LV4 T1 SCAN". Was there supposed to be a truck (lastvagn) in this collection...?

All right, the info could simply be entirely incorrect! I didn't quite think of that option, even though it wouldn't be the first time. I'll see one of these days - the C70 would be nice. :) Leave a Reply. |
