Volvo 440 Politie (NL) by Editions Atlas

The next model in the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas will be a Volvo 440 Politie (NL). This car decorated in the colors of the Dutch Police will be delivered next to the customers in Sweden. I can't show you a photo of the model since I have not seen it so far. But you can have a look at the folder on your right to get an idea how it will look like.

I hope this one will be an exception. Please, Editions Atlas, no police cars, no ambulances or whatsoever!
There are plenty of other (or hardly) never issued Volvo models!

Let Hongwell/Cararama or Minichamps do these kind of models!

I agree with the comments above. Specialized cars are nice for those who collect them, but this Volvo Collection should reflect the development of Volvo cars. However, I think the collectors in the Netherlands like this car ... and to be honest, myself I wouldn't dislike a Swedish black and white 120 Amazon police car although others have models of those...
So I guess one or another specialized car is acceptable, especially if Editions Atlas decides to increase the collection to 60 items. But the recently announced upcoming models were a bit too much I think.
Looking forward with great interest to new announcements. I trust in Mr. Atlas!

thanks for your comments and your trust !

It's allways difficult ton content everybody. We had a lot of demands for some Police cars, we hear you all, and won't do such a specialized collection. They're 3 models in the planning... of now 60 for the whole collection ;-)

We are working now on the choice of the last 15 models and we don't forget your comments !
