Volvo 780 Bertone by Editions Atlas

The latest release in the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas is the Volvo 780 Bertone from 1988. The first models have been delivered yesterday in Norway. The car comes in a nice color combo of wine red metallic with a tan interior. This release features so far one of the best detailed interiors of this collection.

The 780 Bertone is the 21st model to arrive for me here in Sweden, delivery date will be April 9th. That means that the Duett "Volvo Service" is not yet on my list although some people has got it, indicating that deliveries can be a little random.
Also looking out for ÖV4 Jakob, but in which country has it been delivered?

Hi Per,

The release orders are still a very special issue. You simply can't understand some decisions made by Editions Atlas.
In the France the truck collection is divided in two regions : South and North. Some models were lately not distributed in the North. And suddenly the collection restarted with the same models as in the South of France. The result was that many models never appeared in the North. Editions Atlas was simply withholding several models for their customers in one region.

The ÖV4 and the 142 have not yet been released. They have appeared on an auction site in China. This was in the past always a good sign that the models will appear a few weeks later in Europe.

At Volvo-forum.nl the next model has been announced by one of the Norwegian member: a Volvo 440. No pictures yet. Release at 19/04/2013 so expected a week later.

Here in Belgium it is very random too. Overall, it seems to follow the same release schedule as The Netherlands but even then there are some differences.

Sometimes I even start to doubt the postal service. The postman sometimes leaves the package on my doorstep behind a plant, ready for crooks to steal it. Do you think it is possible to request a list from Atlas of all the models they have sent so far, so I can verify if it corresponds with what I have so far?

Hi Bjorn,

You should be able to follow your past and future releases on Editions Atlas' website. You should have received an user id which allows you to login in to your customer account and to see what's happening.
