The twenty-first model in the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas is a Volvo Amazon break. Editions Atlas pretends that this car represent a model from 1962. The car is painted California white and features a red interior. It seems at first sight that this release doesn't present an major issues.

In my opinion the colour is not California White, as it is much darker. I would call it dark creme, it has a very yellowish tone which the photos don't show. The colour is much darker than on the Amazon 2-doors that came a while ago.

I got the Volvo 220 (221) Amazon Break today and the radiator is from model-year 1965. When it appeared first time at Stockholms Bilsalong on February 1st 1962 it was painted green and had another radiator. Leave a Reply. |
