Volvo S60 V8 Supercars by Apex Replicars

I just saw an announcement on Facebook for a new Volvo scale model. This completely new project shows the Volvo S60 as V8 Supercar version. That car is running in Australia in the V8 Supercar championship. The scale model will be offered by the Australian company Apex Replicas. They will produce the car from the ongoing 2014 season in two different liveries. And the best thing is most certainly that they will offer each version as 1:43 as well as 1:18 scale model. An exact release date for these models is not yet known. The official price for the 1:43 models will be 70 $ ( 51 € ) and 150 $ ( 109 € ) for the 1:18 versions. I do not know if those models will be officially offered outside Australia. I will let you know a soon as I have received any info’s.

The Ford vs Holden battleground of the last 20 years has been supplemented by new manufacturers and investors in Nissan, the Erebus Motorsport entry running Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG V8 Supercars and Volvo Polestar Racing with two Volvo S60s.
