Volvo truck collection launched by Editions Atlas as test in Sweden

Yes you are reading correctly. I speak here about scale model trucks. I have to admit that I choose so far not to present trucks in my news. But there is rarely a rule without an exception.

Editions Atlas has launched yesterday a test in Sweden for a collection of Volvo trucks. The collection will consist only of 1:43 scale diecast models. This is only a test to see if any interest among collectors - old and new - exists. Editions Atlas will develop such a collection if enough people are returning the postcard. A list for future models does not yest exist. The customers who will subscribe to this test will receive the shown model of the Volvo N88 in the livery of Swedish company Ramlösa. The scale model of this truck has been newly tooled for this release.

This would be the first collection consisting of trucks from one single brand. So far only Altaya has launched a 1:43 scale truck collection in Spain and France featuring models from many different truck companies.

For the Swedish customers:
- you may download the file below, print it recto-verso, fill it out and send the postcard back to Editions Atlas

Nice! The Volvo looks very good! Nice choice of Company too. Ramlösa is a Swedish table-water and have been used for decades. I´ll have the model for sure but it will soon be to expensive with all new models. Regards Jonas

nice! i would not start a second collection on top of the one i've already got, but i would definetely go for the cheap introduction model..

Hello, this truck is really nice, but to bad I can't print the file out :(

It would be a nice truck to have along with my Scania Vabis L76 ASG truck :)

Hej Patrik,

This is so far just a test to see if there will be enough interest amongst collectors to offer a complete Volvo truck collection.

I will see if I can obtain any info's regarding an eventual success of this test.

Hej Igor,
The Volvo Truck Collection by Editions Atlas is so far just a test who has been released in Sweden.

I ignore t this point if the collection will be launched one day.

You might find the model from the test on one of the well known auctions sites on the www.

Or you might be able to get a copy if you find someone in Sweden who will order it for you.

Dear Patrik,

Editions Atlas seems to finish the details of the mold for the very first Volvo truck of this collection. Their first field test will show if the interest is big enough to launch a collection or not.

I'm pretty sure this is one of the very first places where you will be able to get any kind of info's as soon as their will be any further news on this truck collection.
